Design a “bra” using any theme, materials, ideas, etc. as long as it is “G” rated. You may choose to use some of our suggestions on the back of this page as your inspiration – but you do not have to. Your bra could represent your passion, your hobby, your business, a special interest, a pun or play on any word surrounding bras.
- You can start with a real bra of any size or color or make one from scratch from any material of your choosing.
- All entries must be “new” creations. Please do not re-enter a bra that has been previously displayed. Reusing display forms is just fine.
- Please include a title as part of the design. Your title can be something associated with your category or something simple, descriptive, funny, touching or otherwise. A good title helps the voters connect with your creation.
- Please provide a way to display your creation. A lingerie hanger, a “body/mannequin”, frame, or some type of plan to mount it on a wall or grid. Bra display forms will be for sale at Rebel Marys in Uptown Forum, 2610 Lee St., and at Greenville Floral & Gifts located in Hunt Regional Hospital, starting about a month before the event. - Please remember that our display space is limited, so keep the size of your entry manageable. ONE PERSON MUST BE ABLE TO MOVE IT.
- Shameless campaigning ahead of time is encouraged! We’re all about raising money at Bras for the Cause! If you can collect money in advance to “support” your creation’s chances of winning, please do so! Each $1 buys one vote. Please have all checks made out to “Hunt Regional Foundation.” And don’t forget your friends can vote online, too!
- NEW LOCATION! Bras may be turned in at 2901C Lee Street on Mon and Tues, October 6th & 7th, from 10 am to 7 pm.
- We will have a form for you to fill out when the bra is delivered. Please bring the names, emails & phone numbers of all of the designers with you when you turn in your bra. We want to be able to thank everyone who participated!
- Bras will be assigned a number in the order they are entered and displayed in online voting in numerical order. They will be displayed by category at Bras for the Cause.
- All Bra-makers will receive a ribbon to wear on the night of the event. We recognize everyone with different colors denoting the number of years you’ve participated by making a bra!
- All bras must be picked up by their designers or a representative. They may be picked up at Uptown Forum, 2610 Lee Street, AFTER the event or Friday-Sunday, October 9-12, between 11 am and 7 pm. Bras remaining after that date may be discarded.
- Online Voting opens on Tuesday, Oct. 6th. Turn in your entry, get a number, and then tell all your out-of-town friends, family and business colleagues to vote: b4tcHuntCounty.com.
HERE ARE THE 2026 “ALL-AMERICAN” BRABIE CATEGORIES!
Let’s wave the flag and have some fun this year! We can’t wait to see your creations! Our categories represent lots of things that we love about the USA. We have included some inspiration to get you started. As always, we welcome ANY creation you give us, as long as it is “G” rated (this is a family event after all), so use our information as guidelines or feel free to enjoy yourself and create something unique. Whatever you choose as your category, bra entry takes place at a NEW LOCATION – 2901C Lee Street (watch for our bright banners – just up the street from Greenville Boutique) on October 5th and 6th, from 10am-7pm. ALL entries are due at that time.
- Star Spangled Bra: break out the red, white and blue! But also think about National symbols – the eagle, national buildings (the Capitol, White House, Lincoln Memorial, etc.), currency, Uncle Sam, Liberty Bell, Statue of Liberty, etc.
- National Parks and Monuments: from Grand Canyon to the Grand Tetons – celebrate one of the best things about our country!
- Defenders of Freedom: make a tribute to one or more branches of the military…or to a special service member or veteran.
- American History: celebrate the events, people and places that have shaped our history and who we are as Americans.
- Nifty 50: choose a state and create! Flowers, birds, mottos, flags, landmarks, etc. or anything that inspires you (maybe your home state or where you had an amazing vacation) about a US state.
- Born in the USA: inventions and innovations originating in the US. Here’s a couple of websites to inspire you.

TOP FIVE MONEY-RAISERS: We love our participants who get creative and work ahead of time to raise money for their bras with garage sales, golf tournaments, bake sales and more. As always, we’ll celebrate your success as one of the 5 who raised the most money for our amazing cause by awarding you a BRAbie!
TOP ONLINE MONEY-RAISER: Get to work and recruit your out-of-town friends, business associates and others to log on and vote for your entry. Online voting will begin on Tuesday, October 6th.
SHAMELESS CAMPAIGNING (3 Awards): The Awards Ceremony crowd helps us decide the best BFTC shameless campaigners! Get ready with over-the-top individual or group costumes, signs, vote bribes, and other stunts to raise money for your bra. This year we’ll award THREE Brabies—one for the best individual costume, one for the best group presentation and a NEW one for the Best Kids’ Costume.
BEST YOUTH ENTRY: All entries created by young people under 18 will be included in this category and considered for this award in addition to category Brabies. There will be a box to check on our registration form to indicate a Youth Entry.
