This is our 15th event and we’re excited to have contributed so much to Hunt Regional Healthcare and to help cancer patients in Hunt County. This year’s project is the Aquarius Urodynamics System, which is used in the Hunt Regional’s Urology Department to diagnose urinary tract issues in both male and female patients. Patients from the cancer center, especially prostate cancer patients, are frequently referred to Urology for testing on this machine. Earlier this year, when their older version of this diagnostic tool failed and could not be repaired, Bras for the Cause stepped in and purchased a new Aquarius. We are excited that our motto: “Someone you know has cancer” gets to be very real as we have a new way to help patients – both men and women – in Hunt County with something other than breast cancer!
