OUR 2024 THEME IS BRAtzee!

Design a “bra” using any theme. materials, ideas, ect. as long as it is “G” rated. With our fun 2024 theme and all the new categories inspired by all sorts of games, you may choose to use some of our suggestions as your inspiration. But you do not have to. Your bra could represent your passion, your hobby, your business, a special interest, a pun, or a play on any word surrounding bras… anything is open as long as it is not offensive.

• Please remember that our display space is limited, so keep the size of your entry manageable. ONE PERSON MUST BE ABLE TO MOVE IT.
• All entries must be “new” creations. Please do not re-enter a bra that has already been previously displayed. Reusing Display forms is just fine.
• You can start with a real bra of any size and color or make one from scratch from any material of your choosing. 
• Please include a title as part of the design. Your title can be something associated with your category or something simple, descriptive, funny, touching, or otherwise. A good title helps the voters connect with your creation.
• Please provide a way to display your creation. A lingerie hanger, a “body/mannequin”, frame, or some type of plan to mount it on a wall of grid. Lingerie forms will be for sale at Lenore Cole in Uptown Forum, 2610 Lee St., for $15 or $20 each right after the Kick-Off Party. If you need one sooner, contact us!
• Shameless campaigning ahead of time is encouraged! We’re all about raising money at Bras for the Cause! If you can collect money in advance to “support” your creation’s chances of winning, please do so! Each $1 buys one vote. Please have all checks made out to “Hunt Regional Foundation.” And don’t forget that your friends can vote online, too!
• Bras may be turned in at the Texan Theater Stage Door (2407 Wesley Street) on Mon and Tues, October 7th & 8th, from 10 am to 7 pm. Delivering it in a box or covered with a plastic bag will help keep it in perfect condition.
• We will have a form for you to fill out when the bra is delivered. Please bring the names, emails & phone numbers of all of the designers with you when you turn in your bra. We want to be able to thank everyone who participated.
• Bras will be assigned a number in the order they are delivered and displayed in online voting in numerical order. 
• All bras will be returned to their designers. They may be picked up at Uptown Forum, 2610 Lee Street, after the event or on October 11th and 12th, between 10 am and 4 pm. Bras remaining after that date may be discarded.
• Online Voting opens on Tuesday, Oct 8th. Turn in your entry, get a number, and then tell all your out-of-town friends, family, and business colleagues to vote: www.b4tchuntcounty.com
• All Bra-makers will receive a ribbon to wear on the night of the event. And we will recognize those who have participated for more than one year with special ribbons denting the number of years you’ve participated by making a bra.

BRAtzee! Here are the 2024 Brabie Categories

We’re playing games this year and we can’t wait to see your creations! Our categories represent all types of games and competitions! Here is some inspiration to get you started. As always, we welcome ANY creation you give us, as long as it is “G” rated (this is a family event after all), so use our information as guidelines or feel free to play your own game. Whatever you do, the final leg of the race takes place at the Texan Theater Stage Door Annex at 2407 Wesley Street (watch for our bright banners) on October 7th and 8th, when all entries are due.

1. BOARD/TABLE GAMES: All those games we love on game night—Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue, Checkers, Chess, Battleship, Trivial Pursuit, Life, Sorry, Mahjong, Dominoes, Yatzee. Plus the children’s favorites like Chutes & Ladders and Candyland. Or choose another one that is your favorite! And we’re including Dungeons & Dragons and similar games here, too.
2. BRAIN GAMES: Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Wordle, Jumble—all those brain teasers that we enjoy with morning coffee. Riddles and other brain teasers can be used, too.
3. CARD GAMES: Of course, we think of a deck of cards here, and all the games associated with it—Spades, Poker, War, Gin Rummy, Hearts, Blackjack, Crazy Eights, Bridge, Solitaire, Go Fish. But don’t forget Uno, Catan, Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Jaipur, etc.
4. GAME SHOWS: Turn on the TV and let your imagination go! Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, The Price Is Right, Family Feud, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, $100,000 Pyramid. Plus the classics like Hollywood Squares, Password, The Dating Game, To Tell the Truth, What’s My Line?, or Name that Tune.
5. OLYMPIC GAMES: Choose a favorite Olympic Sport, or Olympian, or the Olympic Rings. Summer or Winter games—we’re ready to cheer for your entry!
6. OUTSIDE GAMES: The best part of summer! Horseshoes, Cornhole, Washers, Bocce, Kubb. Plus childhood favorites like Red Rover, Kick the Can, Hopscotch, Red Light Green Light, Kickball, Jacks, Tag, Tug of War.
7. SPORTS: All those games we love to play or watch—football, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf. Choose an activity or your favorite team (or rivalry—after all, there are two sides to a bra!)
8. VIDEO GAMES: Grab the controller and get clicking! Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Minecraft, Fortnite, Grand Theft Auto, Sonic, Super Smash Bros., The Last of Us, Tetris, Farmville, Candy Crush, Words with Friends, Angry Birds, Oregon Trail.
9. DON’T PLAY GAMES WITH YOUR HEALTH: Get that mammogram! We always love all the entries that remind everyone to get squeezed or screened.
10. THE ULTIMATE LEVEL: Celebrate those who we’ve lost to cancer with a memorial/tribute entry. Or rejoice for a special survivor!

TOP FIVE MONEY-RAISERS: We love our participants who get creative and work ahead of time to raise money for their bras with garage sales, golf tournaments, bake sales and more. As always, we’ll celebrate your success as one of the 5 who raised the most money for our amazing cause by awarding you a BRAbie!

TOP ONLINE MONEY-RAISER: Get to work and recruit your out-of-town friends, business associates and others to log on and vote for your entry. Online voting will begin on Tuesday, October 8th.

SHAMELESS CAMPAIGNING (2 Awards): As always, the Awards Ceremony crowd helps us decide the best BFTC shameless campaigners! Get ready with over-the-top individual or group costumes, signs, vote bribes, and other stunts to raise money for your bra. We’ll award two Brabies—one for the best individual costume and one for the best group presentation.

And we have a NEW Brabie to present this year!

BEST YOUTH ENTRY: All entries created by young people under 18 will be included in this category and considered for this award in addition to category Brabies. There will be a box to check on our registration form to indicate a Youth Entry.
